Editable Binder Covers { from Mrs. D's Corner }

Hey, it's me - Stephanie from Mrs. D's Corner! First, let me say that I am so happy to have joined in with this fabulous group of teacher bloggers to bring you amazing resources at a steal of a price. I love collaborating with other teachers and I feel like this blog is just... well, the bomb dot com.

So if you're anything like me, you LOVE Melonheadz graphics. Nikki is just the sweetest thing ever too! Her kidlette sets are super adorable and can be used in so many ways to spice up a teacher's life and classroom.
(you can see a few of my binders from the very beginning of last year were adorned with Melonheadz graphics... by the end of the school year, they all were!)

Last school year, I created many binder covers for my own personal use, but kept forgetting which kidlettes I had used to adorn the covers and tab pages. To kind of help solve my problem { what a problem to have, right?! }, I decided to create a set of editable binder covers with a Melonheadz theme!
https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Editable-Binder-Covers-and-Spines-Melonheadz-Theme-56-Different-Covers-1877379
There are 112 different cover options (56 vertical text covers and 56 horizontal text covers)! Now that's A LOT of binders, people! Each kidlette comes with a set of editable binder spines too, in sizes 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5", and 3" giving you a wide range of binders to Melonheadz-up and get yourself organized.

So how easy are they to edit and get set up? 3 steps... that's it!

(binder spines are labeled at the bottom of each page to let you know which size binder they fit)

Super simple, am I right? Seriously one of the easiest ways to help manage classroom clutter and organization, all while being stylish!

You can grab them here for $1 (that's 80% off!) or by clicking a photo above for the next 3 days. If you just love the Melonheadz theme so much, you can also check out my other Melonheadz-themed resources here.

Science Interactive Notebook

Hi everyone! I'm Rachel from 2nd Grade Rock Stars.  I am super excited to be part of Teacher Deals and Dollar Steals and to bring you this fantastic dollar deal!

There are only 31 more days of school for me (I'm so jealous of those of you who are closer to the end of the school year!)and my kids were starting to get a glazed look in their eyes during science, which is so not my favorite subject.  You know that look...the glazed over, this is so boring look you get from your kids somedays.

So, I decided to try introduce interactive notebooks into my living and nonliving science unit. My kids were so excited when I brought out the different pages for them to work on. I mean, what 2nd grader doesn't like to glue and cut? The kids love to take their interactive notebooks home and color the pages. It also gives my students the chance to show off their work to their parents.

My kiddos worked hard on these pages of the Living Things Interactive Notebook.  They loved it and so did I!

My Force and Motion Interactive Notebook is also on sale for the next three days.

Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for another great dollar deal!

Orchestrating Poetry Writing Dollar Deal

Wow! How time has flown. This is Charlene from Diamond Mom's Treasury. It is already the 7th and so it is my turn to share a special dollar deal for you.

This month I have a special that focuses on writing. This is one of my newest products and it blends music and writing.
The idea is to use children's songs and create new verses or poems that go with the tune. The topics are wide open, so the creativity is inevitable. There are 5 different songs to choose from. I have also included a black and white version for each song.
I had so much fun doing this with my class and they were so engaged, I had to give them opportunities to write more verses. The best part was singing the poems to the class as they were being created. The range of topics was incredible. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet of the songs they created.

You can grab this activity for $1.00 for the next 3 days. I guarantee it will be fun and your kids will love it. Even my reluctant writers enjoyed it. Just click on the image to get to my store and grab your copy.

Living Things Interactive Notebook

Hi everyone! I'm Rachel from 2nd Grade Rock Stars.  I am super excited to be part of Teacher Deals and Dollar Steals and to bring you this fantastic dollar deal!

Flashback...
My kids were starting to get a glazed look in their eyes during science, which is so not my favorite subject.  You know that look...the glazed over, this is so boring look you get from your kids somedays.

So, I decided to try something new.  I decided to try to make an interactive notebook for my kids.  I walked into class the following week with interactive notebook pages.  My kids were like, "What's that?" After giving them out and SLOWLY going over how to cut and fold the pages, the kids went straight to work.  They were super excited and TADA...the glazed look was gone!

My kiddos worked hard on these pages of the Living Things Interactive Notebook.  They loved it and so did I!

Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for another great dollar deal!

Word Family Wheels

Hi everyone! I'm Rachel from 2nd Grade Rock Stars.  I am super excited to be part of Teacher Deals and Dollar Steals and to bring you this fantastic dollar deal!

Today I am bringing you my Word Family Wheels for only $1!

Let's face it, we all have students who struggle in class. I have quite a few kiddos in 2nd grade who are reading on a K or first grade level. I also have students who are English as a Second Language Learners in my class. One way that I work with some of my students is with my Word Family Wheels.

I use these Word Family Wheels in small groups, for independent work, or for extra practice at home.
The Word Family Wheels are in black and white so you can print out, cut and laminate.

Each bundle includes a wheel for the word family with letters for the students to build the words, a wheel with letters missing so students can make up their own words, and blank wheels to create your own activity.

There are two sets of word family wheels. The first set has one word family wheel on each page so that students can focus on one word family at a time.

The second set of word family wheels has two different word family wheels on one page so that students can review the word families.

Included in this set:

Turkey Glyph Deal

Hello everyone! This is Charlene from Diamond Mom's Treasury. I am back again to share a special dollar deal with you.

Glyphs are a great way to gather data and then compare and classify it. These cute glyphs would be perfect for Thanksgiving time. They will be on sale for 3 days for $1.00.
Here is one example of how it can be used. I have included 2 different samples and a blank form so that you can customize your own glyph.
These are some of the questions that you can use to classify, count, or compare the data.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends outside of Canada who are celebrating this month.
