Read All About It!

Hi Everyone! It's Lauren from Mrs. Thompson's Treasures again!

I'd love to share 2 great dollar deals with you that will help your students with READING!

 

The first is for beginning readers - Roll, Read, & Color. 

 

 

Just add dice, and students will have a blast rolling, finding the correct word using the key, and coloring in the pictures! There are 15 pages that cover pre-primer and primer Dolch sight words!

 



The second deal is for older students who are working on comprehension skills! This is a set of 20 Reading Comprehension Task Cards that give a short paragraph for students to read, with a follow up question that requires students to use context clues and reasoning skills, then provide evidence for their answer.

Writing Craftivity & Color Words Practice

Hi Everyone!

The first is a fun writing craftivity for grades 2-4 called "How to Make a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich." This activity will help your students understand the importance of details in explanatory writing! Students will brainstorm, prewrite, and make a rough draft, then be able to "test" their rough draft in a unique way to see how well they explained how to make the sandwich. It's a writing assignment they will never forget!

Fun Fall Graphing!

Hi All! It's Lauren from Mrs. Thompson's Treasures! Don't you just love when you find an activity that not only is educational, but is really fun and engaging for students?

I have created some Mystery Picture Graphs that are great for practicing coordinate graphing on an alphanumeric grid! They also require students to take their time and be patient as they find the correct squares, follow the key to color them in, and create a picture!
