What's a Mini-Mission? Read on my friend!

Hi!  This is Hilary from Primary Planet!  This is my first time blogging here at Teacher Deals and Dollar Steals!  I am so happy to be joining these lovely bloggers to bring you some amazing deals!
So, what is a mini-mission?  A mini-mission is a short but sweet activity to get your kiddos moving around and talking to one another in a structured fashion.  The first installment in my Mini-missions series is Getting to Know You!  This one has a craftivity for making a detective hat and a magnifying glass.  Here is a picture of it in use!

Your kiddos will be walking around finding out about their new friend's favorite colors, favorite subjects, doing some comparing and contrasting, making a classroom map, and making a graph from data they collect!  A little something for everyone!

Back to School Task Cards

Hi everyone! I'm Rachel from 2nd Grade Rock Stars. I Hope everyone is having a relaxing summer. I can't believe that school will be starting soon for so many of us. :(

I am bringing you my Back to School Task Cards. What better way to get to know your new students than with task cards? You can give each student a set of task cards or set it up like a game of Scoot. I love using the Back to School Task Cards as Scoot. It gives the students a chance to move around on the first day of school and gives you the chance the get to know your students.
