Task Cards from a Not So Wimpy Teacher!

Hello! I'm Jamie Sears from Diary of a Not So Wimpy Teacher. I am so excited to be a part of this collaborative blog and will be back on the 5th of every month with a fabulous deal for you!

Anyone who has ever read my blog or visited my classroom can tell you that I am a task card addict! Just look at the collection that I have! Twelve boxes! (And it's still growing!)

The reason that I love task cards so much is that they are versatile. They can be used in a whole group scoot, a center or even as playing cards for a game. They can be used to teach, practice or assess.

I use at least three different sets of task cards each week! I use spiral review math task cards as a center in my math workshop.

I use reading response task cards, printed in black and white and glued into student reading journals.

And, every Friday, I do a whole group scoot to assess my weekly language skill using task cards. The kids are happily moving around the room and don't even realize that they are completing an assessment.

If you have not jumped on the task card band wagon- now is the time to do it. I chose THREE of my my most popular sets of task cards for the beginning of the year. I marked all three sets down to $1! You have until Sunday to grab this deal before the prices go back up!

Happy scootin'! See ya next month!
