Back to School Visual Addition

As I head back to school I'll be ready for my students to review addition skills they worked on last year.  This highly visual addition set is perfect for students still needing concrete or semi-concrete addition strategies.  It is highly flexible in the method of response as you will see below.

 As you can see there are many options available, making this a practical solution for meeting the  needs of each student in your classroom.  This resource covers the Kindergarten Common Core Standards of counting and cardinality. The various response activities allow you to scaffold the student and provide additional practice by using the various options. Since there are 4 different sets that feature 9 cards each, students can move through the scaffolded process with familiar activities that feature a different card set.

Two patterning activities are added as a bonus to the addition resource.  These are perfect for centers or to use as a Scoot activity. A cut apart response is provided for students who have difficulty with reproducing the responses by hand.
