Getting Ready For Back To School

It's that time of year- finally! Only 9 more student days for me. If we hadn't had all of those snow days this week would have been my final week. I sure do enjoy those days in the winter, but am not quite a fan this time of year, when the kids are squirmy, talkative, and really just wore out after all the ridiculous amount of state testing we had in May.

Since my summer is so short, (Our last teacher day is June 2nd & First Teacher day back is July 20th), I've decided to get as many things ready for next year as I can. I'm already working on first week lesson plans. I've made copies for the first few weeks of schools. I have parent packets ready, and back to school letters typed & in envelopes. I want to enjoy my summer as much as possible.
