Money QR Code Task Cards

Hey guys!  It's Angie from Lucky Little Learners and I'm back to bring you a great $1.00 deal!  I recently went to a technology conference called TIES in Minneapolis, MN and came back to school just charged up and ready to implement the 5 iPads that I was given to use in my 2nd grade classroom!  I decided to start small and start using QR codes as a way to self-reflect and self-correct with our math focus skill during stations.  We just finished our Money Unit and I was able to use these Money QR Task Cards.  They were a hit!

There are 24 task cards and a recording sheet included in this product.  The task cards are ink-friendly and include pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and half dollars.  The recording sheets are awesome because they have a space for the children to self-reflect on their answers once they have scanned the QR code and found the correct answer.  I have my students leave their incorrect answer and cross it off.  Then write the correct answer.  This will allow for me to see where they are making their errors.

One day I had two of my math station groups combined into one (12 students...long story).  I really wasn't optimistic about this working out with only 5 iPads but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the kids did very well with this and didn't have to wait very long, if at all, to get the iPad to scan the QR code.  Who knew that math could be so much fun?  These will be on sale until Wednesday so pick yours up today!

  1. Can we edit these to remove QR codes if our school does not use them?

    1. No, they are not editable but that is a great suggestion. I may do this once I can get on Christmas break. Thanks Jennifer!
