Warm and Cozy Math Stations

Hey ya'll! It's Marcy from Saddle Up For 2nd Grade!

Saddle Up for 2nd Grade

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Today I'm bringing you a dollar deal that you do not want to miss! My Warm and Cozy Math Stations will be on sale the next 3 days. These are perfect for starting out the new year and provides great practice for the winter months. Ten winter themed stations are available in color and black and white. They cover addition and subtraction facts to 20, addition and subtraction with and without regrouping, adding 3 and 4 addends, comparing and ordering numbers to 1,200, counting coins up to $1.00, telling time in 5 minute increments, place value to 1,200 and fractions.

Our math standards changed this past year. In 2nd grade they now have to be able to recognize, compare, and order numbers up to 1,200 instead of 999. Working with 4 digit numbers makes them feel so grown up. :)

In Texas, our fraction standards changed. They only have to recognize fractions in halves, fourths and eights. We no longer have to teach numerator and denominators but I've tried to throw some of that into the mix of things. Here they are only writing the fraction of the parts shaded. Our curriculum teaches the word form rather than using a fraction bar.
