This product helps you review punctuation at the end of a sentence. I don't know about you, but my kids seem to ALWAYS forget to put a simple period at the end of a sentence. Or, they always put a period and never use a question mark or exclamation mark. It can be very frustrating. :/
I made this packet to help my kids practice this skill and to help them remember to use punctuation. It also helps them review when it is appropriate to use a period, question mark, or exclamation mark.
This packet includes sorting mats with a period, question mark, and exclamation mark on them. There are also sentence cards that include various sentences that require different punctuation marks at the end. Students then sort the sentence cards under each sorting mat to match which punctuation mark should go with each sentence.
There is also a worksheet included in the packet! It is a cut and paste worksheet where students will paste the correct punctuation mark at the end of each sentence. This is a great way to check for understanding.
