Teaching Personal Narratives {Writing Unit}

Hello Friends and Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm Melissa from Mrs. Dailey's Classroom and today is my day to bring you my $1 sale item!

One of my favorite subjects to teach is writing! We just finished our personal narratives, which is the unit that will be on sale for the next 3 days!

This unit is packed with all kinds of activities from graphic organizers to personal narrative sorts!

Here is one activity that I did with my students. I related a personal narrative to a small seed in the students' lives.

The students wrote their "seed moments" down and then colored them in.

Then we shared with the class and eventually hung them in the hall for all to see!
